So, a few years in… Discovery has been pretty OK. I have some SERIOUS gripes about it, but on the whole, it’s been pretty good.
Discovery seems interesting, but I’m hating the monetization scheme. Broadcast TV and syndication worked before. It should work now. I’m not paying for CBS All Access for one show. (And no, I’m not watching anything else on it, because I’ve got too much eating at my life right now already.)
The show itself seems decent at least. Not bad, not great.
Yeah, basically have done all the stuff regarding cheapening my expenses, even before I lost my job. I’m pretty frugal naturally. Been updating my resume periodically. I also do volunteer work, and it’s on my resume. I’m glad that you’re trying to help, though. 🙂
Whoever was running the Sevilia NationStates account, your Nation has expired. I suggest you log back in soon. (I think this was Nemi running it, IIRC.)

We’ve gotten a bunch of snow here this season, but it hardly ever sticks. So far, it’s been about 2 inches max. Nothing significant.
New Year’s here was watching “The Interview” then watching the local fireworks on TV for about 10 minutes, then going to sleep.
