And it’s bloody hot! 34C today at least but yesterday it was 44.6C which is a new record for a January day since 1991. Normally we don’t get those sorts of days until February.

(There was a brief chance I might move to Australia about 7 years ago. I’m glad it fell through for many reasons!)

Sean, you need 2.3 deg more for an auspicious temperature (which I experienced when in Tunisia a few years back, something I don’t wish to repeat temperature-wise but it was cool (literally!) to visit the Skywalker residence 😉 )

50 days without rain in perth, a new record…
And it was 38C again today

Not surprising really. Just like most other things, it costs way too much money to import rain to Perth. Or so I have heard.
