Ronnie (the Uni Years)
Here are some of the fairly weird cartoons I'd draw on bits of paper during Uni (often during lectures). The main character is a reinvented Ronnie who I first drew while in primary school but he'd changed a bit by the time I drew him here.
Studying at Uni
I confess that I didn't actually write this cartoon - I read it in a King's College yearbook (I stayed there for my first 2 years of Uni) and liked it so much, I thought I'd draw it myself just so I had a copy of the idea.
Starving on a raft
This two page cartoon is a parody of a TV ad where three starving guys are floating on a raft and one guy imagines the beautiful meal he would cook if they had food. My version is a slightly grosser version... these Vault cartoons are really showing my darker side, aren't they? :-)
Ronnie the hero
This is the first of many Ronnie Bourke (named after the Western Australian town) adventures I drew where evil thugs for some reason have it in for him and try to kill him. This one is pretty weird.
