		The Tournament 9 Hall of Fame lists all the past winners of Tournament 9 of the Write Your Own Pits Competition. This particular story is a continuation from Tournament 8. Appropriately, this tournament ended in a DRAW between Riff and Jason Kinch. According to the rules of the Pits Comp, Riff as a previous winner of the Pits shirt wins free banner advertising on the Pits Competition page, while Jason wins a free Pits shirt. See how many points the finalists accrued in the Points Board below. Round 1

4 November 97 Total: 187 entries		Winner: Riff - 6 Points Michael Lewis - 5 points Wayne: What happened with him? Lance: He found a woman more desperate than himself! Tyler Stevens - 4 points Wayne: Do you think I could get a girlfriend too? Lance: At this point, I'll believe anything. Brian - 3 points Wayne: Where are you going? Lance: To sign up for a math class! Jason Kinch - 2 points Wayne: He's going on a date like that? Lance: My mistake. I told him to just be himself. Crazeyal - 1 point Wayne: How'd he do it? Lance: The power of positive groveling! Round 2

18 November 97 Total: 278 entries		Winner: Riff - 6 Points Crazeyal - 5 points The reason for the forty air fresheners! Brian - 4 points UFO's - Unidentified Filthy Objects! Michael Lewis - 3 points Wayne's room... It looks like he actually cleaned it up a little. Tyler Stevens - 2 points A floor rapidly approaching the ceiling! Jason Kinch - 1 point We call it Hurricane Wayne. Round 5

25 November 97 Total: 254 entries		Winner: Jason Kinch - 6 Points Sev Note: There was some debate between Jason's winning punchline and Riff's second placing punchline. I favoured Jason's, while Wendy favoured Riff's. In the end, we both agreed on Jason's mainly because of it's brevity (it turns out this small difference is what won Jason the Pits shirt). Remember, the shorter, the better! Riff - 5 points Yes, I am. I'm also handsome, charming, sensitive and available! Jason Kinch - 4 points Well, he needs all the help he can get. James the Great - 3 points A friend in need is a friend that will pay anything... Rhys - 2 points I'm his waitor for the evening, he's my slave for the week! Crazeyal - 1 point Friend... no. Debtor... YES!
