The Pits Hall of Fame

		The Pits Hall of Fame lists all the past winners of the Write Your Own Pits Competition. Here you'll find what it took to win a free Pits shirt. I've included the comic strip with the winning punchline and the runners-up entries. To see how many points each finalist has accrued, see the Points Board.
Tournament 1		The initial, ten round tournament that started it all. Michael Cooper ran away with it pretty comfortably. You can now see him drawn as Simon Peter in The Sev Files: Resurrection.
Tournament 2		The first 5 round tournament, dominated by Riff (he was really hungry for that Pits shirt!)
Tournament 3		A close one this time, with Mills just pipping Michael Lewis at the finish line.
Tournament 4		This tournament, we look at the Internet and spiders. Michael Lewis prevailed this round, sneaking past Wei-Hwa in Round 5.
Tournament 5		Herman gets rid of his pet spider, Wayne employs ants to help him clean up and Lance bribes a fortune teller. Tournament 5 was convincely won by Mills.
Tournament 6		Learn the golden rule of bachelor flats, where Wayne keeps his snack supplies, the next phase in modern toothbrushes and what Wayne would do for a million dollars, in a tournament easily won by David.
Tournament 7		Mills wins his third Pits tournament while Wayne scams Herman.
Tournament 8		A historical tournament where we meet for the first time... Burger Girl! Herman takes a month to muster up the courage to ask her out! Brian romped this tournament, more than doubling his nearest competitor.
Tournament 9		In a questionable strategic move, Herman takes his first date with Burger Girl to the worst possible place... The Pits! This was one of the most narrowly fought competitions yet - a draw between Jason Kinch and Riff.
Tournament 10		We finish Herman's date, just in time to celebrate Christmas and New Years. Tyler Stevens takes out this tournament.
Tournament 11		Wayne conducts scientific experiments in explosives. Karen Nimmons (always close to winning) is just pipped by Jay and Shari Berryhill.
Tournament 12		Herman goes on his second date with Burger Girl - a high school reunion. There he meets his nemisis, Burger Girl's ex-boyfriend Raoul! Again Brian destroyed his opposition with a more than convincing win.
Tournament 13		Wayne loses a close friend... a piece of crusty cling wrap. Brian continues his domination, scoring nearly as many points as everyone else combined.
Tournament 14		Wayne spends an entire tournament procrastinating on studying for his exam. The era of Brian domination is ended when Q narrowly pips him by one point.
Tournament 15		Wayne's exam ends as you would expect (as does the points board)
Tournament 16		Herman goes on his third date with Burger Girl and meets her parents! Brian recovers from his shock defeat by winning two more tournaments in a row.
Tournament 17		Herman escapes his dinner with Burger Girl's dad but not unscathed (but I don't see him complaining :-)
Tournament 18		Herman, Lance and Wayne attempt to clean the Pits. Do they succeed? What do you think!?!
Tournament 19		Things take a turn for the worse when the Landlord arrives to inspect the flat, although this person is not exactly what everyone expected! (and I'm glad to say none of you predicted it either :-)
