Sev Trek Keyring Survey Results

Well, after just one day, I got a flood of survey results - I've posted the results at the bottom of this page. I received many very helpful comments and suggestions (some ideas which hadn't occured to me at all and I gratefully take them on board). I am now working on getting the keyring design to the keyring making dude - I'm told it will take about 4-5 weeks for it to be produced.

Here are the three keyring designs I asked everyone to choose from

I was quite surprised by the results of the voting, which are:

Hair Keyring	50.0%
Captains Keyring	45.6%
Ten out of Ten Keyring	4.4%

The biggest surprise was the poor showing of the Ten keyring. I've received lots of comments about her character (namely, why she isn't in the Forager Crew page). Maybe everyone has reached Ten overload. I even received a number of requests begging me not to do a Ten keyring!

The votes were very close between the Hair and Captains keyrings. I think Hair might have been even more popular if it'd had the words "Sev Trek" on it. However, I've talked to the Keyring Making Dude and he advised me that the Captain's keyring wouldn't have looked as good so small - so I've decided against putting the Sev Trek title over the Hair keyring.

However, if it's any consolation, I can put writing on the back of the keyring (which are made of gold coloured metal incidentally) so I will be putting the Sev Trek title there (as well as the web address, of course! :-)

There were many other comments that were equally helpful. I've been advised that Gainweight's hair is too red so I'll keep an eye on that (it was a technical decision as I'm limited to 4 colours). Many people asked me if I could do all three keyrings. Well, I just can't afford that, I'm afraid! :-( I will do a single keyring, and if that goes well enough, I'll think about doing another one (and so on if they continue to be popular).

Lastly, there were many excellent suggestions for mousepads. I am now going to whip up a couple of mousepad designs and ask for your opinions on that. However, I'm still interested in hearing other suggestions for mousepads.
