Sev Trek at BOBW! John and Wendy Cook, creators of the Sev Trek web site, will be visiting Sydney in March this year. We will be in the dealer room at the Best of Both Worlds convention, on March 20, 21. Here's some of the stuff we'll be doing at the convention: Personally signing all merchandise you purchase (if you want them autographed, of course :-). If things aren't too busy, I can also draw your favourite character (or even draw a caricature of yourself) We'll be launching the Sev Wars Poster there - you'll be the first people to see it! (get a head start on the Poster Competition :-) We will run a Punchline Competition during the weekend. The winner will win an original hand drawn poster of all the Sev Trek characters - I'll be drawing the poster during the weekend. We'll be selling damaged or misprinted Sev Trek books at heavily discounted prices - a chance to get a copy cheaply (there are only about a dozen copies though). We'll bring down some original artwork for sale - if there's something specific you'd like us to bring, email me your request. If you live anywhere near Sydney and will be attending the convention, be sure to drop by the dealer room and say hello. We'll have a few sales and discounts (more info to be revealed on that soon). We'll bring the lifesize Gainweight if you want a picture with her (who wouldn't? :-) The stars of this convention will be William Shatner (the man himself!), Robin Curtis (Saavik), Richard Hatch (Apollo from Battlestar Galactica) and Dr. Lawrence M. Schoen (big cheese of the Klingon Language Institute). It will be held at the Sydney Entertainment Centre. Find out more information at the BOBW web site.
