StarFleet Brasil Convention

Marcos Kleine (composer of the Sev Trek: Pus in Boots soundtrack) recently attended a convention in Brasil where he launched the soundtrack. Here is his report:

March 7 was the day of the StarFleet Brasil convention in São Paulo-Brasil. The convention was called -GENESE- and 800 people was there - it was very crowded!

At this event, we launched our debut of the Sev Trek: Pus In Boots Soundtrack. As a bonus, we also showed trailers and excerpts from the movie. Plus I performed a live rendition the Sev Trek main theme.

The reaction couldn't have been more positive. The music caught everyones' attention and when the trailers came up, everybody went crazy! There was much laughter at the jokes and surprise at the quality of the animation (including all the elements - the FX, the music and the voices). I think they expected something simpler and the reaction to the Barf Batleth fight scene was great. It was like people watching the Star Trek Nemesis trailer!

I sold out all the CDs of the Sev Trek Soundtrack - 80 CDs - in minutes! I talked with more than 600 people - they all are awaiting the movie here and I couldn't be happier. The soundtrack is getting lots of nice comments and people are very proud that I am part of such a nice project as the Sev Trek: Pus in Boots Movie.
