    Yes, they’re still around! Though some parts don’t work anymore and the USS Sevilia is a bit rusty, blowing smoke from the exhaust and only running on 5 Dilithium crystals.

    I suppose you guys have seen the new fan fiction “guidelines” set out by CBS and Paramount following the Axanar law suit…?

    So while aimed primarily at video production, technically any written fan fiction is liable to be covered as well. Certainly USS Sevilia sails very close to the wind on this issue.

    Anyway, I’ll wait and see if they send any Klingon hit men around for a “chat” or at least a nasty cease and desist letter from their lawyers ( which is pretty much the same thing..) before taking action.

    I’m sure Sevilia -ization et al. fall under legitimate spoofing.

    They are more getting tough on actual 1 to 1 productions using

    everything exactly like the franchise would.

    Still not a good move on their part. Fans can be persnickety and have long memories.
